The counseling with David through my separation was one of the most beneficial things that I could have done! The level of understanding for my situation and ability to relate important information as well as helping me to realize who I am with a positive direction forward has made me a better person. Thanks!

Dear clients…

I employ a positive Existential & Gestalt approach to therapy, placing an emphasis on discovery and awareness while integrating aspects of other approaches to individualize therapy for each client. This leads to connecting with the whole person, working in session to identify the client’s challenges and begin exploring their thoughts and feelings as it relates to how they view themselves and their life.

Together, therapy is approached through a 3 phase process, engaging first by “Reflecting” on what brings them to therapy and the circumstances impacting their mental health, leading to the identification of their treatment goals. Second, we explore the process of “Rebuilding,” placing an emphasis on processing their challenges and developing themselves to begin making positive changes related to their goals and how they view themselves. The third phase of therapy is centered on “Refining” themselves into the individual they want to be, as well as building the life they want to live. Throughout the process of therapy we will work to develop self-care, mindfulness skills, and forming connections within the community regarding other services and social outlets.

We will all encounter challenges that shake the foundation of ‘who we are’ and 'how we live.' Therapy is a space away from the world, a place to reflect on your life, and begin rebuilding yourself into the person you want to be. Together, we will rediscover your strengths and awaken your motivation to begin 'building the momentum you need, to live the life you want.'

I look forward to connecting with you,

David
